Her writing is intended to be clear, thoughtful, Scripture-centered, and accessible while still giving serious subjects the depth they deserve.

SCRIPTURE & CHRISTIAN LIFE
How does Eliora Selwyn approach Scripture and research?
Scripture is the governing authority for Eliora's work.
Historical sources, archaeology, ancient writings, scholarship, language studies, and the work of other researchers may provide valuable context. They can help illuminate the world surrounding the biblical text and sometimes help us notice details we might otherwise overlook.
But they do not outrank Scripture.
Eliora seeks to distinguish between what Scripture says, what available evidence establishes, what appears plausible, and what remains speculative or uncertain.
The guiding principle is:
Scripture first. Evidence second. Hypothesis third. Conclusion last.
Does Eliora Selwyn write Bible studies about the Psalms?
Yes.
Eliora Selwyn writes Bible studies on the Psalms, including work centered on the Psalms of Ascents—Psalms 120–134.
These studies consider the historical setting, movement, themes, and spiritual significance of the Psalms while also asking how their message speaks to Christian faith and discipleship today.
This work forms the foundation of The Journey Up, a Scripture study that is nearing completion and publication preparation.
Does Eliora Selwyn write about Christian obedience?
Yes.
Christian obedience is a recurring theme in Eliora's writing, especially the relationship between faith, obedience, discipleship, and daily Christian life.
Rather than treating obedience as a way of earning salvation, these studies consider how obedience flows from faith, love for God, and a life being shaped by Christ.
The goal is practical as well as theological: understanding not only what Scripture teaches, but how that truth should affect the way we live.
What is Faith & Relationships?
Faith & Relationships explores the places where Christian faith meets the people God has placed around us.
Topics may include marriage, family, friendship, forgiveness, grief, encouragement, conflict, community, responsibility, and the ways our relationship with Christ shapes our relationships with one another.
These subjects are approached through Scripture while recognizing that relationships involve real people, real circumstances, and sometimes difficult questions without simple answers.
What is Realms & Powers?
Realms & Powers examines the spiritual beings, realms, authorities, and powers revealed in Scripture.
Some of these subjects benefit from examining the ancient world in which the biblical writers lived. Historical material, ancient Near Eastern context, archaeology, language, and the work of scholars and researchers may therefore be considered.
Those sources can provide context.
They do not determine doctrine.
Where interpretations differ or evidence remains uncertain, Eliora seeks to distinguish clearly between what Scripture establishes and what remains a possible interpretation.
Scripture remains the boundary.
CURRENT EVENTS & RESEARCH
Does Eliora Selwyn write about biblical prophecy?
Yes.
Biblical prophecy is an important part of Eliora Selwyn's work.
Articles may examine prophetic passages, historical context, patterns in Scripture, and current developments that raise legitimate questions about prophetic significance.
The purpose is not to manufacture fulfillment or set dates.
It is to understand what Scripture says and watch carefully as events unfold.
What is Prophecy Watch?
Prophecy Watch is Eliora Selwyn's structured approach to following developments that may have prophetic significance.
Rather than treating every dramatic headline as fulfillment, Prophecy Watch records what has actually occurred, why it may matter, what evidence supports the assessment, and which significant thresholds have not been crossed.
Investigations may develop through Watch Logs and expansion articles as new evidence emerges.
The goal is to create a dated, searchable, honest record that allows developments to be followed over time without rewriting earlier events to fit later conclusions.
Watch carefully. Research deeply. Test everything. Force nothing.
Does Eliora Selwyn believe current events are fulfillment of Bible prophecy?
Not simply because an event appears significant.
Some current developments may deserve close attention because they intersect with people, places, alliances, institutions, or circumstances discussed in biblical prophecy.
That does not automatically make them prophetic fulfillment.
Eliora distinguishes between what has happened, what may be developing, and what has not happened.
A headline is not a fulfillment merely because it resembles something in Scripture.
Where evidence warrants watching, we watch.
Where Scripture and evidence do not justify a conclusion, we do not force one.
What is Current Events at Eliora Selwyn?
Current Events is the broader home for examining significant developments in the world through Scripture, credible sources, historical context, and documented evidence.
Not every important event belongs in Prophecy Watch.
Some developments are significant because they affect the biblical world, religious freedom, archaeology, culture, international relationships, or questions Christians are already asking.
Current Events provides room to investigate those subjects without requiring a prophetic conclusion.
How does Eliora approach archaeology and ancient discoveries?
With both interest and caution.
Archaeology and ancient discoveries can provide remarkable insight into the lands, cultures, languages, people, customs, and events surrounding the biblical world.
But discoveries are sometimes sensationalized beyond what the evidence actually proves.
Archaeology & Ancient Finds therefore asks several separate questions:
What was actually discovered?
What has been established?
What interpretation is reasonable?
What remains uncertain?
And what, if anything, does the discovery contribute to our understanding of Scripture?
Evidence should be allowed to say what it says—no more and no less.
BOOKS & BIBLICAL FICTION
What books has Eliora Selwyn written?
Eliora Selwyn™ is developing both Scripture-centered nonfiction and biblically grounded historical fiction.
The Journey Up is a study of the fifteen Psalms of Ascents, Psalms 120–134. It follows their movement from distress and pilgrimage toward Jerusalem and the presence of God, exploring their biblical setting and continuing meaning for Christian faith and discipleship. The manuscript is nearly complete and is approaching final review and publication preparation.
The Song of the Ages is Eliora Selwyn's biblical historical fiction series, with Miriam of Asher at the heart of the developing story world. The vision grew from a journey through the biblical record from Genesis through Revelation into something larger: a carefully researched world capable of carrying multiple stories, characters, places, and periods within the broader biblical landscape.
Keeper of the Lamp is another biblical historical fiction project being developed through close attention to Scripture and extensive historical research.
Additional books, studies, and related resources will be added as they are completed.
Does Eliora Selwyn write biblical fiction?
Yes.
Biblical historical fiction is an important part of Eliora Selwyn's writing.
These stories are intended to help readers enter the world surrounding Scripture while maintaining a clear distinction between the biblical record, historical evidence, and fictional reconstruction.
The purpose of imaginative storytelling is not to rewrite Scripture.
It is to create a historically grounded world around what Scripture gives us while respecting the boundaries of what is actually known.
How does Eliora Selwyn use Scripture and history in biblical fiction?
Scripture provides the foundation.
When Scripture establishes a person, place, event, relationship, chronology, or other detail, the story must respect it.
Historical and archaeological research then helps reconstruct the surrounding world: geography, architecture, clothing, occupations, travel, food, agriculture, politics, religious practice, household life, economics, language, and other details of everyday life.
Where both Scripture and surviving historical evidence are silent, fiction may fill appropriate gaps.
But imagination should never be presented as though it were established biblical or historical fact.
What makes Eliora Selwyn's historical fiction research-based?
The historical world is researched before and during the writing process rather than simply added as decoration afterward.
Research may include Scripture, archaeology, geography, historical records, material culture, architecture, agriculture, religious practices, social customs, economics, travel, and daily life appropriate to the period.
Details are checked against the evidence available for the setting.
When the evidence establishes something, the story follows it.
When several possibilities are historically plausible, the story may choose among them.
When the evidence is uncertain, the writing should not pretend certainty exists.
That distinction between established, plausible, and imagined is central to Eliora's approach to historical fiction.
Where can I find Eliora's books and resources?
The Books & Resources section is the permanent home for Eliora Selwyn™ books, Bible studies, courses, Scripture resources, companion materials, and other learning resources as they become available.
Not every project will appear there while it is still being developed.
The guiding principle is simple:
Finish it well before putting it on the shelf.
The library will grow as individual works are completed and ready for readers.
WATCH, FOLLOW & SHARE
What is Watch Eliora?
Watch Eliora is the visual side of the publication.
It brings together Scripture Shorts, longer cinematic Scripture presentations, playlists, collections, and other video work designed to help viewers encounter biblical passages visually while keeping Scripture itself at the center.
Some videos stand alone. Others accompany articles, studies, or larger collections.
The purpose is not spectacle for its own sake, but another way of inviting people into Scripture.

Keep Exploring
Eliora Selwyn™ is still growing.
New studies lead to new questions. Research opens additional paths. Books and resources move toward publication. And sometimes a single verse sends us somewhere we never expected to go.
You do not have to agree with every conclusion presented here.
You are invited to open your Bible, follow the references, examine the evidence, ask questions, and test what you read.
Sometimes we will reach a firm conclusion.
Sometimes we will identify a possibility.
And sometimes the most faithful answer will simply be:
We don't know yet.
That's okay.
Watch carefully. Research deeply. Test everything. Force nothing.
And through it all, keep returning to Scripture and to the One to whom it ultimately points.
Jesus Christ.
